Diagnostics of 5 families of experimental apiary during honey collection period.

Preliminary data of the families

8-1 Family with a queen, born in 2019. Participates in the experiments. A lot of Varroa mites. Was saved from death by the complete destruction of drone brood. The quantity of the mites has dropped sharply. The family has already given 2 supers of honey ( 150mm) and is preparing to give the third. Bees began to fly very actively.
5-1 and 5-2 Two families are the result of  division in 2019 of the family #5. The quantity of the mites in both families is low. Both families worked great. Each of them gave 2 supers of honey and is preparing to give the third.  Bees flew actively. But the flight activity of the 5-1 family has decreased ...
E-5 Offshoot with 2-3 frames of brood and with the queen born in 2020. Gaining strength.
8-2  A family whose queen was removed in May due to loss of ability to lay eggs. New queen was reared by the bees from the brood of worker bees. The quantity of the mites is not high. Recently, bees have started flying much better. Prospects for getting marketable honey are not clear ...

Results of control.

Good working state. Signals of processing honey are strong enough for nine in the evening. Control, using Readiness for Honey Collection mode, says, that the family is ready to give marketable honey.











5-1

Good working state. The signals are strong enough. Present a sufficiently strong excitation signal.  Control, using Readiness for Honey Collection mode indicates, that periodically all bees turn to work with brood and other in-hive works not related to honey processing. Then the graph turns red. In this family, there may be a problem with a decrease in the number of brood and worker bees. The family has worn out over the period of honey collection. Apparently, family need examination and help.

5-2

Good working state. There is enhanced ventilation. Control, using Readiness for Honey Collection mode says, that the family is ready to give marketable honey.

Very weak signals. The family is in working state, but the signal strength is small. There are few bees and just a few job. Control, using Readiness for Honey Collection mode says, that there is no work with honey at all. The family only increases its strength by giving all its resources to the brood.

Good working state of the family.  Signals are of medium strength. There are two types of heating signals. Apparently, the family has a lot of brood. All her forces are directed towards development.
