VARROATOSIS CAN BE EASILY CONQUERED WITHOUT CHEMICALS !

The latest model of a 10-frame Dadan hive with a super, a high hygienic bottom, an inner cover adapted for acoustic control of bees and a roof covered with plastic. The hive is made so that after placing a bee family in it, the summer growth of the Varroa mite population will be suppressed. There is a special requirement for its use - it must be located in an open sunny place or with minimal shading. The sun should illuminate the hive for at least 6 hours from 11 am to 5 pm. Ideally, the more, the better. The entrance should be turned as precisely to the north as possible - the sun in the middle of the day should shine onto the back wall of the hive. The hive will create conditions in the bees' nest that contribute to the regular death of Varroa mite egg clutches. Depending on the outside temperature and solar activity, from 30% to 90% of the mite eggs in each egg clutch will die in the bee brood. This will lead to the suppression of the development of the mite population and the health of bee family. At the same time, the brood of the bees does not suffer. On the contrary, there is more of it and it is of better quality. Transfer of bees to the outside part of front wall of the hive on the hottest days is also a normal phenomenon - young bees do not need to warm the brood. In the fall, it is advisable to transfer the bees to the "cold wintering" mode to stop the cultivation of brood, which at this time is only an incubator of mites. The latest bees that do not have time to make cleansing flight, as a rule, do not survive until spring anyway. With the onset of cold weather, it is recommended to put an insulating hygroscopic pillow in the super, which in this case is placed on top of the inner cover. This will create not only insulation, but also sufficient removal of the winter cluster of bees from the snow on the roof of the hive during wintering outside. When settling bees in a new hive, it is desirable that they are pre-treated (in the fall) and the mite infestation is not high. The fact is that with a high mite infestation, bees are usually already weakened and affected by viral infections. In this case, it will be too difficult for the hive, if at all possible, to help the family to survive. Otherwise, the hive does not require any special actions for its operation. The hive was tested for 5 years and the last two years have shown completely positive results from its use. Here you can find out WHY AND HOW IT WORKS !!!
